LOVE LOVE LOVE. Did I mention I LOVE this product. Must buy for all your cars. Have 18lb. Boston terrier. Like all dogs, she loves her windows and likes to sneak up on your lap - even when you're driving! I have used this in a Hummer, Camaro, Chevy Truck, Mercedes S550 and have had it repaired on every vehicle. I like that the center cable is adjustable, especially for use in different vehicles where the seats are taller/shorter etc. However, I have found that it can be a bit shorter as it still is in some of my vehicles is a little shorter. the ability to get to the window / door by the shortest route. I have put her in a harness for safety as I believe it will give her extra body/neck protection in an accident, not to mention that she may well fall out of the collar in the event of a major impact. I put one of her flat beds in the back seat and she is very sociable and sleeps most of our trips. Running the harness at a high point in the vehicle will result in fewer entanglement issues than using "buckle" harnesses/straps. Overall I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone with a pet.
