Small, tough and responsive
For years we've been looking for a kitchen and grill temperature sensor that gives fast readings and doesn't fail after a wash. This is the unit we were looking for. Water ingress has been a big problem with other probes, but this one seems designed to fix the problem (unless you wet it with water to clean it). The body of the probe is rigid and the whole unit is very durable. continuous. The yellow case is a bit off in terms of kitchen decor, but rest assured you won't lose it. Reading is very accurate.
