So far I like the device very much. So I can get the tool out of my pocket and be a toner and tester at the same time. Both feel solid, as professional devices should be. I would have liked the buttons to be a little more recessed so the device wouldn't turn on when it was boxed. Also note that after staining the line, the device must be powered off before connecting to the wires for testing. For some reason, directly switching from shading to display gives inaccurate results. This slight inconvenience is offset for me by the fact that it comes with all cables and works for cats, coax and phone. Plus, the fact that it comes with alligator clips and a pouch is a nice bonus.
