Great replacement for my Bella Foret N142

I have Bella Foret N142 03 which my son recently broke a pen on. It turned out that the stem of the faucet cartridge was broken. I was thinking of either buying a new crane and installing it ($350+) or having the plumber fix my existing crane ($150). So, I got this part and I was looking for an installation guide. I didn't find anything, but I found out. Before you begin, make sure you turn off the water under the sink. When you're done, turn it back on. The cartridge is held in place by a collar that screws around its top. It has a strange brass ring with four notches inside, I've been looking for a suitable tool. Not necessary! The clamp is attached to the outer shell, so you can twist the upper part of the outer shell directly to loosen (counterclockwise, the normal direction of "weakening"). He pulled off his collar, immediately pulled out the old cartridge. I wiped off the water and a bit of sand, snagged this spare, twisted the collar back on and reattached the handle. The new cartridge works better than my old one and is less noisy and less turbulent. Maybe there were mineral deposits in the old one, I don't know. I am very happy with the cartridge and how easy it is to install once I figure it out.
