This is a pretty standard DVD player - it plays DVDs with no problems, great. However, it lacks some features that I am used to from a DVD player. First, if you pause your DVD for more than ten minutes, you won't be able to pick up where you left off - instead, you'll start your movie over from the beginning. Also, there's no meter to show where you are in the movie, so unless you keep track of when you're doing it, there's no way of knowing exactly how far in the movie you are. Neither of them are very big, and this is a fairly inexpensive DVD player, so there are no frills. But you should think about that before you buy it.
