. This is truly one of the best purchases I've made in the last 2 years. i love coffee I have 3 different cone grinders, 1 manual and 2 electric (various reviews) to try and get the best/most consistent coffee bean grind - at home and on demand. I love french press coffee and brew coffee. I like to determine the brewing time, degree of grinding and roasting. I'm also VERY adamant that my coffee/hot beverages do NOT come in contact with plastic (BPA-free or non-BPA). One of the reasons I love French Press coffee and brewed coffee is that it can be brewed without coming into contact with plastic. I also like both because they retain the (healthy) oils from the coffee beans that paper filters often remove entirely. When I finally discovered the pouring option, I found it to be a great, less labor intensive process that gives me the full flavor of my coffee with no plastic and minimal "sludge" at the bottom of the cup. I then became frustrated with the cost and availability of the filters and ended up buying more than one potting ceramic product (1 for each type of filter - a true cone like the Hario V60 or a flat bottom) to have the potting option. The taste was (is) excellent, but buying paper filters for it was a problem. After thinking about the Yitelle Pourover for 6 months, I finally decided to give it a try. I will never go back to paper filters. I was skeptical of how well it would work and clean up after use as well as being able to control brewing/brewing time. My biggest disappointment is the 6 months of waiting and the $$$$$ spent on filters before taking a chance on a Yitelle stainless steel cone. This is no chance. It's the perfect balance between a French press and a percolator with the (almost) convenience of a K-cup AND without the environmental impact of a paper filter or (even worse) another plastic "cup" as a by-product. I LOVE IT. It is now my number one choice for brewing and consuming coffee. Achieving an even grind and "just like that” for a French press is a project, even with a conical coffee grinder. Consistency is still important (very important), but the Yitelle SS pour is smoother and is exceptionally good at minimizing particle (sludge) build-up in each cup. The only reason I've ever used a drip coffee maker is so I can set a timer so the coffee will be ready for me when I wake up. After that first cup, I immediately move on to the Yitelle SS Pour Over. Once you've determined your ideal grind level, water temperature, and amount of grind for your cup size, I dare say there's nothing better. Grind fresh coffee, set the right water temperature and use this Yitelle dispenser to brew the best cup of coffee outside of a Parisian restaurant that serves the perfect cup of coffee from a French press. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to show how great this product is because I'm thinking about using it so much. * Another advantage! - Ever tried using a ceramic mug? Doesn't fit, doesn't balance on the neck of most travel mugs. The Yitelle SS sweater fits very well in even the smallest travel container I own! No more pouring coffee into a mug and then pouring it into a travel mug. This article fits! Pour straight into your favorite travel mug. Love it!
