Got these as an upgrade for an old pair we've had for 20 years or more. We live in the mountains and use them to study animals. Extremely sharp, very impressed. The color and sharpness are incredible, and the case it comes in is neat too. It comes with a tripod but the quality is a bit lacking, I worry all the time about it tipping over, but you can use any tripod with it that has one of those screw mechanisms that you screw binoculars onto. It also comes with a phone adapter so you can connect your phone to take photos and I've shared some of the photos I took. That's great, but my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and it takes a lot of effort to get it into the spring-loaded grip mechanism, and the weight of the phone makes me worry that it might tip over. But it works. Next time I can try shooting directly through the lens of the binoculars without an adapter. The manual lists most, but not all, of the parts and accessories that come with the binoculars. I had to search the internet for information on how to set up a phone adapter and a tripod and then try to figure out how it all works in time. The manual only briefly goes into the binoculars and lists the details, nothing more. I wish there were more on the list so I can only rate this 4 stars out of 5. Overall this is a great pair of binoculars and I'm glad I made this purchase. Update 4/29/19: They still work after a lot of use, love them; You can't go wrong for the price, which is why I'm upgrading my rating to 5 stars.
