I work in IT and I install a lot of mini split systems that you can buy cheap online. The only catch is that they usually have a very proprietary filling slot that you have to suck and fill. Most commercially available sensors only work with r22 based vehicles and systems. Over the years I've had to mix them together to work for my needs. Finally someone made a setup that costs no more than $300. I am not an air conditioning professional and only install split systems for friends and customers. I don't need a professional set of pressure gauges, I just need them to create a vacuum in the line and charge it with refrigerant R410. However, this system is very well made and way better than my heavy haul kit or the Pepboys sensors I've used. The sensors are of high quality, the kit includes adapters for r410, r134, r22 and apparently R442. The connections are solid and I don't get spatter back like I did with my old kits with lots of adapters. If you're looking for an inexpensive set of blinds that you can use in multiple settings (cars/homes/splits), grab these and be happy you've saved a ton of money!
