Slightly changes the taste of tea and gets moldy

Bought for the first time because of the price and because it was 50 bags. I've listened to other reviews and boiled the bags in water first to get rid of any weird build up in the bags and that certainly happened. There were so many in the bags that the water turned a completely different color, became thick and cloudy, and wasn't gone even on the first boil. I cooked it a second time and it still didn't seem to remove all of the residue in the packets. It just grossed me out and I didn't want to use the packets afterwards because of the paranoia that the packets still contained the substance. bags and that I will drink it. I've only used them a few times. They seemed to work well, except they definitely change the flavor of your tea - it's probably leftovers in the tea bags that I haven't been able to completely remove. After that I didn't use it much anymore. I kept the dry sacks in a bin to take out when needed and when I finally decided to use them again about a month later all the sacks were formed. Black mold grows on all of them. This may be because I live in a humid area, but after that I just threw the bags away and resorted to other methods of storing tea. I have a metal cup holder that fits me much better and I will not be going back to these bags. The most disappointing thing wasn't the mold but the fact that the bags are so disgusting that after boiling them twice you can't get rid of them. all the rest. Even after that, my tea still had leftovers and it tasted awful. I wouldn't recommend buying cloth tea bags, just something different. I would love to take photos for this review but unfortunately that happened a while ago so I don't have any.
