It pumps a lot of water out of my basement, just what I needed. Noise isn't a problem - I think it's pretty quiet here and it's in the basement so I won't hear anything anyway. I'm only taking off a star because the bucket is very small. Since I work I couldn't empty it for 8 or 9 hours during the day so it filled up and shut down. I finally got enough water out of nowhere over the weekend, emptying the bucket about every five hours. Now it takes about 10 hours to finish.
