Review on 60-Minute Interference-Compatitive Genie Bulb by Tom Tofte

, I recently replaced the CFL in my garage door opener with an equivalent 100w LED bulb. To my surprise, my garage door no longer closed. Hmmm. I thought. what has changed about it lately? I put an LED bulb in, sure that wouldn't stop it from closing right? Well apparently it didn't close because when the garage was opened the light came on and the LED was emitting light at a frequency that interfered with opening the garage door and it couldn't receive a signal from the garage remote controls. So I went to Google and lo and behold, LED lights interfere with garage door signals! Well, apparently Genie makes this little gem that's an LED but doesn't emit those pesky garage door noise signals. It came last night and I tried it and it works great! Sure I could put in another crappy CFL or, worse, an incandescent bulb, but I'm sick of climbing up the stairs once a year to replace these guys. So Genie LED Garage Door Light is here to help! I hope this lasts a few years and I don't have to climb those stairs again! Good product!
