Fantastic little solution to a very nagging problem!

I had constant trouble servicing the Chamberlain garage door opener work light - it kept vibrating and wouldn't stay on. I was still using incandescent bulbs so I didn't have the remote control interference problem that some people said these LEDB1-R bulbs solve, but I had to constantly rotate and adjust bulbs to try and get them working to keep. Working when opening garage doors. I've tried using gaskets and cleaning the sockets, but most of the time only one bulb worked and often none worked.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good bulbs that cost more for a very specific purpose

I really hope I haven't fallen for the hype with this bulb as it's expensive for a 60w Type A LED -bulb. I recently swapped garage door openers (effectively swapping Geniuses for Chamberlains). The Genies' range wasn't very good, and I got tired of changing lightbulbs. Perhaps the Genie's range was due to their poor rubber remote controls. Chamberlains have a hard plastic button with a solid "click" to let you know when you've pressed the button. However, I used these lamps because I read that…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

, I recently replaced the CFL in my garage door opener with an equivalent 100w LED bulb. To my surprise, my garage door no longer closed. Hmmm. I thought. what has changed about it lately? I put an LED bulb in, sure that wouldn't stop it from closing right? Well apparently it didn't close because when the garage was opened the light came on and the LED was emitting light at a frequency that interfered with opening the garage door and it couldn't receive a signal from the garage remote controls.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
