I've been really impressed with my experience with this cooler so far - upon inspection (couldn't justify $350 for a hopper - this is ridiculous and I really don't like the side zip design ) I chose a 30 liter weekender for Labor Day weekend, which lives up to its name. I put 24 cans in the fridge at 4pm on Sunday afternoon along with about a bag and a half of ice cream. Since then I've just left it in my car. We used it at a party on a Sunday night and just left it open for people to get drinks whenever they want. We then locked it up and took it to two family gatherings where we left it open by the pool all day. After all, the ice from yesterday was still frozen! I added some more ice on Monday afternoon. Then I closed it up and honestly forgot it in the trunk of my car. He was sitting outside in a hot car and then WEDNESDAY NIGHT I opened it up and got a cold drink! I thought it was pretty crazy - only 4 days. The 30 liter size is amazing to me - when fully packed it can be a bit difficult for my wife to lift, but the shoulder strap makes it very doable (we tested it). If she were going to use it I'd probably recommend her to only fill it about 3/4 full if she has to carry it very far, but for us I thought it would be better to have the extra space and not use it all the time to use than that we didn't have to excuse. it's in the future when we pack food for camping or at the lake. Pros: • VERY insulated - stays cold for days (3-4 days in my particular experience - I'd like to give it another try and maybe use an ice pack to see if I can keep it cold longer). • I really liked all of the handles - the two on the side were useful for moving it around the pool but I liked the longer carrying handles. My wife used the shoulder strap as it is very comfortable when you walk far. • I liked the flip top lid as it was easy to grab and felt good for just putting lots of drinks in and getting things out easily. because it opens. • Slim size fits perfectly in the trunk or even on the floor of the back seat. Disadvantages: • With 30 liters, although she can still lift it. with a shoulder strap, might be too heavy for my little wife if she were going to carry it long distances fully loaded, but the obvious solution would be not to pack it to the brim like we did in this case. For us this is not a serious problem. Would highly recommend this - it's great by the pool and also great for storing drinks etc in your car. My wife and I also plan to use it for groceries that need to stay cold when we run errands - very helpful!
