Simple Modern Liter Weekender Cooler Review

I like the style and the size is perfect. But as soon as we opened it, a strong chemical smell, similar to formaldehyde, hit us. After leaving it open for 24 hours, the smell didn't go away. Even if we use it, we will not use cooler ice in our drinks. And will wipe down all drinks long before we take a sip. Whatever is causing the intense odor may not be good for your health.

I had really high hopes for this cooler but after a year of moderate use it may be thrown away! Did a lot of research and thought this would be a great boat cooler for the day. When it arrived the color was a beautiful blue-green. The photos show how it is faded and discolored. While cold drinks stayed cool, over the course of a year the bottom seam unraveled exposing the foam insulation. We only used it when we took the boat out so maybe 15 times in the last year. Never worn, always worn on me

Love color like other people when they see it. The curved design is innovative. It's expensive, but not when compared to more expensive coolers (yet) or what I've paid over time for my old lunch box/coolers that never stayed cold. I am so impressed with this purchase! I used it to transport an ice cream cake to a party tonight and had to write a review. Due to time constraints, I had to put an ice cream cake with a couple of ice packs in the SM Weekender about 3 hours before my event. I laid the cooler on its side and it fit perfectly. A simple modern 30 liter weekender soft cooler is a beautiful bag and the materials feel durable. The waterproof zipper worked great for me and wasn't as difficult to use as some reviewers have noted about this type of bag. It's heavy when full, which might be a reason to buy a 20 liter bag if weight is a concern.
