I like it because I was able to mount it on the inside wall of the van, right in the door frame next to the entry/exit switch. A lot of the gauges out there are large and provide a lot of information, but for the occasional use of my RV this is perfect and goes well with the interior. Using my multimeter and this one, I can see that the reading is slightly higher than the actual battery, but it's not that far, so it works to ensure a good battery charge.
