So we have an office with a powerful games console and a nice 4K TV in the living room. Instead of watching TV we love playing games like Resident Evil and The Walking Dead together! We bought a 25ft HDMI, this USB extender and a wireless keyboard/mouse. This extension allows us to play with the controller while the computer is at the office! The specific controller we use is a wired controller with additional paddles and shoulder buttons so we can't use a wireless adapter. We can confirm that the signal still gets to the computer even with the standard 9ft controller cable. Whatever you do, it's worth taking the extra time to ensure a clean cable doesn't work, rather than starting with an active solution.
