Review on Milwaukee 2442 21 M12 πŸ”§ Sausage Caulk: Superior Performance and Easy Application by Erik Haynes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect masonry tuck pointer trademan

This gun gets 5 stars for the weight savings alone, it's about three pounds lighter than an 18 volt gun and that's a big deal. The battery life is excellent, I used it for a full 8 hour workday and the battery gauge only went down 2 bars which is impressive. I was skeptical that a 12 volt tool could squeeze sealant out of a cone (Sonneborn NP1) let alone for any significant amount of time, I was wrong. For me this gun will replace my manual Cox sausage gun, the M12 has instant back pressure relief which allows for a good clean without droplet breakage. Pros and cons: positive at first, dosage is gentle, adjustable with speed dial and trigger, coke compatible accessories like barrel, collar and cone, battery life is impressive, light weight. Negatives, made in China, I have nothing against the trade, like to buy American ones if possible, only one battery comes with pistol, release button to extend the buttstock cannot be reached with the thumb, small complaint. Not many cons for me and many pros, if you are a tuck pointer try this caulking gun, it's only $170.00 and in my opinion that's a handful for a thirty percent increase in footage!
