Exactly what I was looking for
. I used it primarily as a receiver for a cheap portable player so I could adjust its faint highs and lows, and then used $20 computer speakers as the receiver's output. This combo actually works very well and can get really loud when I want to (I'm sure). The device's built-in radio tuner works as expected, as does the Bluetooth connection. I say thumbs up.
