Pros. Good price, Light and comfortable design, No special drivers required, Good range (DECT), Good talk time (DECT) No visual mute indicator on stem, Stem needs to be rotated and carefully inserted into stand UPDATE: Battery after three weeks of daily use none Hold charge for more than two hours. Also a minor annoyance - I noticed that the microphone picks up wind noise from the air conditioning. This is a DECT softphone headset at a reasonable price. The next level is roughly doubled, and the only real competitor in this price range is the Logitech H820e. Compared to this model, this one is slightly lighter, has a slightly shorter dock and is more comfortable. Both have a mute button on the headset, which is very convenient. I didn't give a star because this design doesn't have a backlight on the arrow to show when the sound is muted. Instead, you get light at the base. However, if you step away from your desk and hit the mute button, you may miss that visual confirmation. However, both beep. The way this headset fits into the base takes a bit more effort than the Logitech model, as you have to line up the stem with the stand and tilt the headset as you lower it. It doesn't matter if you wear it all day. But if you like to snap between calls, the design is a bit annoying. Both models offer long talk times and ranges. You do not need administrator rights to install drivers for these models and you can start using Skype right away. Other things being equal, I prefer Logitech's slightly less user-friendly design. However, I had trouble getting a second H820e that wasn't defective.
