Review on πŸ›€ Carex Dual Level Bathtub Rail with Chrome Finish - Safety Bar for Seniors and Handicap - Easy Installation for Assistance Getting In and Out of Tub by Bruce Marable

Not suitable for sloping bathtubs. (Unless you want it to look like accidental slips and falls)

Does not work on sloping tubs. Only thing this is good for is when you need to get rid of your father in law and want it to look like a slip and fall. Just install and wait. Given the poor design, it won't last long. I wouldn't trust this to support a 40kg child let alone an adult. If you are looking for something for swim safety, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. PVC pipes fastened with liquid nails are more reliable. I have worked in construction and carpentry so this is not a case of user error. Since this item is non-returnable, I can remove the mounting brackets from the bottom and mount it through the top of the tub rim using the flanges with the floor panels on the bottom. Another point to note is that with different wall thicknesses, your bathtub will only be securely fastened at the narrowest point, usually the middle, where it gets completely in the way. Instead, place a vertical rail directly over the tub wall.

  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
