I had a small leak in my waterbed that was still full of water and I was afraid I would now have to drain the water to close the shift patch . Luckily I came here, read some reviews and decided to give it a try. Best $8 I've Spent. The sticky part is covered with a plastic film that needs to be peeled off and then stuck on the hole you want to fix. The adhesive is so thick it's almost impossible to remove. I bought these in April 2017 and am only writing a review now in July 2018, still no leak, I have since shared them with my sister for her air mattress and my son's bouncy castle which is still working. I recommend this product, you will not regret it
