I really like this for storing our rice which I like because it has a built in measuring cup and a right hand closure with a rubber seal to keep food fresh. My only complaint is that the pour cup spout is a bit difficult to seal and reattach, but not that bad, it's just that sometimes you think it's screwed on properly and you realize it's not, but other than that it's great for my obsessive compulsive disorder To keep kitchen utensils neatly organized and stored and to make it so handy to have a mug for measuring rice, I always tape the cooking instructions on the packaging and the measured values to the outside of the mug for quick access looking it up and keeping track of expiration dates isn't the same either as rice is usually kept around our house long enough to expire but lol wish I had a bigger one even though it's a 5lb sack compared to 2 -3 pound bags as we eat rice a lot and I usually find 5 pound bags to be the best value in. But I would definitely recommend it if you like using things like this for pantry storage of dry foods that can easily work with more than just rice. The size and small handle makes it easy to pick up and carry, which is also another plus for me.
