I tried it and it tasted like the inside of a dresser drawer
I found them too strong. I only used half the coil, soaked it in bourbon, replaced the bourbon and soaked with fresh bourbon. Then I added half a coil to 5 gallons of stout. Just three days later I tasted it and it tasted like the inside of a dresser. I think next time I'll try to use just a quarter. Or go back to dice as I don't know if that works for small batches.
