Review on Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.Black.swap: Ultimate πŸ–€ 120mm Premium Quiet Fan in Black (4-Pin) by Trey Harvey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

And yes, Mr. Wayne, it comes in black.

This fan was purchased to replace a pre-installed exhaust fan which began to howl during operation. Noctua has always been a Rolls Royce of case fan makers, but Ford is in the color choice - you can have fans of any color if you want Soviet block brown. I'm glad Noctua has finally addressed this shortcoming and is releasing sleek black fans that go with everything. This fan is as quiet as all Noctua fans, but it's no longer the color of baby puke. I appreciate that Noctua includes different colored anti-vibration shock absorbers, but I don't appreciate that they only include four of each color when there are eight corners. Not much, because something is better than nothing, and Noctua needs to make that dollar just like the rest of us. Noctua sells packs of each color separately. So if you want your fans all decked out in blue, red, green, yellow, white, or black, you can have that done for around $7 and have enough bumpers to wrap around the corners. 2 fans. Like the Rolls, Noctua fans aren't cheap and you'll pay a few bucks more to get fans in a non-disgusting color, but if you want quiet and long-lasting fans, don't accept replacements. I will be replacing my intake fans with Noctua Chromax 140mm in the near future.
