Review on Foldable Wooden Dog Ramp for Small Pets - Ideal for Beds, Furniture, or Vehicles Under 80lbs - PETMAKER Pet Supplies by Amanda Edwardz

Now I use the ramp sideways - leaning against one side of the bed - this worked better!

Filling prevented my 16 year old Chihuahua from climbing. (She is now 18 years old (as of 10/2020) and still uses her ramp conscientiously). It had a little more padding than I expected, which gave her a little trouble. She couldn't really hold on/climb when she came up. After 3 months I'm happy to report that we finally figured out how best to use it. I lay the ramp sideways and lay my whole body on one side of the bed. Which again… she climbed halfway up the ramp and hopped lightly onto the bed. Now she wasn't afraid to fall on the side of the ramp either. Now she can climb onto the bed like this. It was easier for her - instead of climbing all the way to the top of the ramp, struggling with the padding and falling down the sides. So if I put the ramp on its side—it was close to our bed, all to one side—my little girl could lean on the edge of the bed and then climb onto the bed with her mom. 😀 Also, be PATIENT - I never heard her bark/complain about putting her on the bed. Instead, when she barked/used obscenely to ask for my help, I picked her up to USE her new ramp in this new position. Again it took three months after that, but since then she's made it! Hey! 💗 💃 😌
