There are a few things about this alarm clock that I really like. Great big display for the time so very easy to see. The display backlight can be adjusted from on to off, and I like to sleep with the lights off, so my room is both light and dark. The time and alarm are easy to set and you can be woken up to a beep or radio. I wasn't sure about retractable antennas at first, but I like them a lot more than those tiny antennas with dangling cords. And it turns out I don't even need to lengthen the antennas to get great reception. I like that it's so small it doesn't take up much space on my bedside table. The only thing that confuses me is setting stops for your favorite radio stations. Otherwise it's a great little clock/radio!
