First, the fan matches the dark blue of my living room perfectly. It's small, but it expels a lot of air even on the lowest settings. The arm below is thick and strong. I had to put some fans next to my humidifiers to keep the air circulating. I was so happy when I saw this fan. The price ($7.95) and color (navy blue) were great. I placed the humidifier on the dresser and lightly attached the fan to the edge. I have a surge protector with a USB charging input, so I had no problem unplugging it. I love that it doesn't have a battery because I've been working on it all day. The air is very dry, so humidifiers are always on. It only hums very quietly on the lowest settings and I was able to sleep normally. I sleep very lightly. A cable attached to the fan in case you're thinking of buying a longer cable. This fan meets all my needs at the moment. If I was in the office I would definitely put it there to cool me down when the air conditioning isn't working properly.
