It worked exactly how I hoped it would. This is a simple device that attaches to brackets on either side of the outboard motor. Then you can attach a ski rope to the end of the red plastic thing - it will center the tow rope and distribute the force to each attachment point. One thing that differs from the last one I had is that the red part has a pulley and "rides" the rope attached to any attachment point. While this helps center the tube or skier, it makes it a bit more difficult to "rock" the extended tube from side to side, which some people like. If I could make a change I would put a hole in the red thing. more so that it's easier to hook a thicker rope, but that's not enough to dock the stars.
