On paper this material looked great. No "proprietary blends" to hide the amount of more expensive ingredients used by many companies. Acceptable and useful amount of beta-alanine (4 grams), citrulline (6 grams), taurine (2 grams) and agmatine (500 mg). It also contains some theobromine as well as 300mg of caffeine and a few other substances. All in the doses required for effect! It was very good on the first day of use. until my stomach went crazy. This happens to me with creatine monohydrate but there is no creatine in this blend so I was wondering what happened. I realized (after some reading) that I had used a full scoop with very little water to mix it in. MOST pre-workout drinks will upset your stomach if you don't use enough water. That was the problem. Apparently, the powder forms a jelly in the stomach if not completely dissolved, and this can cause the body to draw a lot of water into the digestive system, leading to diarrhea. glass of water (16-20 oz) and mix thoroughly. Guess what? No upset stomach! I had a very good workout, a good pump and lots of energy. I used stimulants for many years until I got the right dose of thyroid medication to deal with constant fatigue. I can say that it legally has the advertised caffeine content. My energy levels didn't drop and stayed pretty good for a while after the workout, so I was happy. Oh, and the taste is pretty good too, if that's important to you. It's not overly sweet or overwhelming. Overall I would say this is a great product that easily compares to few others. There are pre-workout drinks that actually contain the right dose of ingredients (but cost a lot more). I mean good products like Legion Pulse, Pre-Jym and Altius. It is absolutely in the same class as these products at a very good price. I'll stick with this product for now. I really see no reason to switch as it works and it's a great price. I have tried other products from this company and am satisfied.
