I bought this because it had a trigger that operates a blade inside the spoon that pushes the ice cream out. However, unlike previous shovels I've had, this blade slides across the entire shovel from edge to edge; it only goes about three quarters of the way. We have found that the ice usually still sticks to the last quarter of the balloon and we have to shake the balloon up and down to release the ice. It's so stupid! The trigger only does half the work. I don't know why they didn't put the blade all the way through the inside of the shovel. The shovel feels solid and the color is cheerful. I just wanted it to work better.
