Purpose: Plug the Nest Mini into an outlet in my bathroom. Pros: Easy to install - literally plug and play. The color matches the cream colored nest. Attaches securely to the outlet. Hours but I saw the light change color - like it had accidentally been reset. This is my biggest minus - the one that made me return the item. The design is how the base compresses the socket too much (than necessary). the point where I worried the grille (above the speaker) might crack when the base is removed). Structure (2) - The frame structure blocks the second exit (directly below). You'll need a particularly thin fork to get the job done (which obviously isn't convenient). Conclusion: I read the rest of the reviews here and decided to return the item. Instead we put the cube on a simple plastic case (which uses the original socket adapter). Works great and is a cheaper alternative. The only downside to these teardrop cases is that they leave a bigger footprint. but at least you can use both ports!
