Be sure to check them side by side each time you use them. Make yourself a set of spacers of different sizes to fit them. I ruined the engraving on a $350 custom knife when I first tried it. It was inclined at 8° from one bevel to the other, making the cutting line uneven on the bevel by about 2 mm. Some might not complain about 2mm, but as a maker of custom knives, this variation is unacceptable for the class of knives I make. I had to spend the next 4 hours fixing the etch and then I made spacers to fix the sharpener problem. At $70 I was expecting them to be less than perfect but was hoping I could use them right away without modifying them to save time and money.
