I had a 9 inch microfiber hood buff with a rubber band, I put it on the foam pad and used it to buff my truck after I waxed it, the hood fits over the pad like a glove and the foam is soft enough . hood pillow. I recommend these pads to everyone, you won't regret it. My back pad is 7" and it just fits the hole in the pad. The extra foam around the edge makes it 9 inches in diameter.
