Review on πŸ‘” Stylish Aluminum Colorful Patterns: Discover Thomas Bates Men's Accessories and Belts by Rich Montgomery

Disappointing even at $16. I'll spend more next time even though it's a great pattern.

Disappointing even at $16. Two stars because of the low price, if it was over 20€ I would give it 1 star and send it back. Maybe I expected too much. The buckle hole that the belt must pass through, specifically the hole on the exit side of the belt, is approximately 1/16 inch smaller, which means the fabric of the belt edges aggressively rubs against the entry and exit slots each time it is put on and adjusted. This is the belt of nylon over a whitish [nylon?] core, and this constant friction wears the nylon down quickly. The pattern isn't just thick, hard nylon fabric. Too bad. It won't last long so don't return it. I'll use some of this. maybe a year. Also, part of the problem is that the buckle is simply stamped from a 1/8-inch aluminum shank. There are no polished edges, and even the buckle's finish looks like the aluminum shaft hasn't been heavily machined, with a few minor scratches and dents. I'll stick with more expensive bison belts or something like that. I can try sanding down some of the aggressive edges of the buckle. See? I just got myself a draft.

Pros
  • belt
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
