Ideal for use with bicycles.

Bicycles are increasingly defining torque settings for attachments and components. E-bikes do the same. I've never used a torque wrench when working on my bike, but with its carbon frame I was sometimes afraid of damaging it by overtorqueing it. My only previous torque wrench was a tie rod wrench which is now old and terribly rusty. I got it to convert my VW Beetle engine in the early 80's but I don't use it anymore. So I basically thought about torque measurements when they were required in the past few years. Although I have this key to work on my bikes, I would like to be able to use it on my cars from time to time. . The 1/4" size is a little small for a lot of auto work, but can be used with a 1/4 to 3/8 converter without having to change the torque settings. However, you may need to lengthen the crank (or better yet, add a 3 (Buy a larger capacity /8" or 1/2" wrench) to handle the higher torque settings of many vehicle components. This is a quality torque wrench that is easy to install and gives reliable readings. It still needs about every year or after 5000 puffs by weight (look online for instructions) but is initially guaranteed to be within 4% This key is its unsuitable and oversized case Other than that I am very satisfied.
