So there's no logical reason why they couldn't design the front panel to fit the more common double din sizes. Zero. In theory it can be modified with extremely generous use of the Dremel. Due to the construction, however, this is not recommended. I ended up breaking mine and need to make my own faceplate. If it was $20 (about the cost) then I wouldn't have been so upset.
