Updated from i5 Surface Pro

Very happy with this device. I use mine mostly as a laptop/desktop replacement, not a tablet, although it's a great tablet too. I love that it uses Windows 10. I upgraded to the new Windows 10 Creator as soon as I unpacked and set it up. What I like: It's a workhorse. The Surface Pro can run the entire suite of Office 365 apps, Adobe Lightroom and many other programs since the operating system is Windows 10. I can even run some games like Sid Meier's Civilization V although I'm not a big gamer. It is so light and portable that you can easily take it with you when you travel. It has a microSD card slot for storing files. I love the Pro 4 dock and use it with an AOC IPS monitor and it works great. It's a silent SSD - fast! Screen resolution and quality are excellent. Great for watching movies on airplanes. The Wi-Fi connection is very powerful. The Type Cover is very useful. I use a separate keyboard, but I like to use the font skin when I'm not at home. Touchscreen controls and the Surface Pen are great, especially when using apps like OneNote, scrolling through Word documents, editing PowerPoint presentations, or navigating large spreadsheets in ExcelKickstand. Great Wishlist: USB-C That's it! This is my second Pro 4. I switched from i5 4mb ram 128gb ssd to i7. The truth is that most people can easily get by with a basic i5 machine, but I wanted some more RAM, so I decided to upgrade the CPU, RAM and SSD at the same time since prices are good at the moment.
