First, the world of imported technology products is full of this problem - instructions that are not only confusing but utterly incomprehensible, especially when they're absurdly absurd and in print so small you need a magnifying glass to understand them at all. , we really had fun shooting with different lenses. But you have to remember that unless you use a tripod AND a remote shutter release, a large telephoto lens is functionally useless for photography. Of course, any attempt to take a photo by pressing the phone/camera button will result in camera shake and blur the image. So unless you're a talented mime artist, don't expect to be able to make telephoto lenses by hand. Which brings me to the question of the tripod. I'd be very surprised if this thing survives a day or two of routine use; this is VERY lame. Attaching lenses to a camera lens is not an easy task. You must have the camera function enabled to position them correctly so that the image is focused on the camera sensor. It's a bit awkward - then of course you have to insert the phone into the spring-loaded tripod mount so you can turn on the camera and access the on-screen menus, and then attach it to the tripod. Then comes the positioning and focus adjustment, and in the end you have a finished shot once you've accounted for the position of the camera and lens so you can point it at what you want to capture. Lots of trial and error again, but if you're patient and practice with it and don't manage to drop your phone too many times, you can capture some shots that you could never get with just your phone. Don't plan on using a flash, albeit with a telephoto lens. On some phone cameras, the lens mount is large enough to block a nearby flash/LED. Special effects lenses are the easiest things to get creative with.
