Main charger connects to micro USB cable. There are two separate applications that can be connected to the micro USB. It is USB-C suitable for the latest Android flagship phones and Lightning cables for Apple products. Only ONE device can be connected at a time. This allows for fast charging on Qualcomm's fast chargers. That's the main reason I chose this one over 3 cables in one. The downside is that it takes a bit more work to wire them up to suit your current needs. No, it's not difficult once you get used to it, but if you just throw it at someone, it takes more than a few seconds for them to put the right plug in. Seems the tech could use some improvement as there have been times I've tried to plug it in and unless it's lined up perfectly it won't go in. The brackets can also be rotated the wrong way, so you may need to rotate the attachment to get the arrows to line up.
