Useful for illuminators. I wish the handle was longer for better grip. As mentioned, it doesn't offer much torque, but that wasn't much of an issue for the tube screw (the flat screw was a different story). There were some issues tightening the rusty C-clamps (particularly the pivot bolt). So if you're working with older gear, it would be much easier to have another focus key handy. They're a great little instrument and the price isn't too bad, but you could probably get them a little cheaper at your local theater supply store (if you live in San Jose or the Bay Area, they were $9 at Musson's last week). ) .
