I like to use them as kitchen napkins and tablecloths, although I don't really use them in place of paper towels. They replace sponges for me and have the added value of being easy to clean. This season is hot and humid; Cloth crockery also molds inside after 24 hours. These Swedish tea towels are much more resistant to that summer mold, although they will also have a slight odor after a few days. (I hate mold so much I actually sniff rags.) These rags are so easy to wash, I no longer have to wash a pile of traditional dishcloths in hot water with them. These swedish tea towels are dishwasher safe if I do the loading. They are very easy to clean in the dishwasher and do not take up much space. I just wring them out and hang them up after washing. My rating is 5 stars because these swedish washcloths are so comfortable and reusable.
