Ordered size 7. My foot is 9.5 inches long and 3.75 inches wide when measuring barefoot. The skates have the perfect length, but unfortunately they are made for medium to narrow feet, as my feet were compressed at the sides even with thin socks. I don't think increasing the size would help much because they were VERY tight on the sides. I would probably have to increase the size by 2 which would create another problem because then the skates would be ok in width but too big in length. Well :-( what a pity. Otherwise the skates are very nice, they seem to be durable and the wheels are of the kind that can be used indoors or outdoors because they are a bit soft but not too soft. I think the softest ones are - this is best for beginners riding outdoors so you can always swap wheels if you want sticky wheels but it's a good hybrid once you get comfortable in it.Sadly I have to return it. I'm sorry you didn't have a choice for wide feet It's hard to be a wide footed girl living in a narrow footed world!
