I'm so happy I finally bought this tool! It only takes about 4 hours or a little less to cook before the meat is rolled out. I myself have let the meat cook longer, about 6 hours plus the slicing, much of the waste would be meat wasted and now it cuts the cook time in half and also the cook time is half as much and I can 4-5 pounds cook a day compared to just a pound a day and I got a really good price on this gun. As far as cleaning goes, it doesn't really matter, it's simple. Putting the meat in the gun can be a bit of an issue because it lets air in, but I just cover it with my palm on one side and put my finger on the other and somehow move the meat to help vent the air and more to make room for the meat. I would have to load it about 3 times at 1lb and it doesn't bother me but I use all four of my racks but I only used three racks before so I probably made it too thick when I rolled it myself. So I can definitely recommend this gun. You have other options for getting a larger gun, but since this is my first gun I just wanted to stick with the price range and size at first.
