Very strong magnets, don't worry, they stick very well to your car. I have tested it on a sedan and an SUV and have driven about 200 miles on each car, on the freeway and in the city, bumpy and rainy. The thing is closed! The magnetic case is of very good quality, but remember that it's made of plastic and is attached to metal magnets. So if you place it under the car, AVOID HOT spots such as the muffler, exhaust system or crampons. The case will melt and warp and the magnets will lose their ability to stick to the metal when heated and either the case will be damaged or the case with your tracker will fall off at a random moment. I checked my case after a few hours and I put it too close to the muffler and it was damaged very easily. I emailed the seller and the customer service is great, there is a phone number and they respond to emails very quickly. A day later they sent me a new case for free. Yes, the case is waterproof and I tested it by riding it in the rain all day.
