I had a hole in a metal tank that was below the water table and nothing I tried could stop the leak. I ended up resorting to a wooden dowel which would stop the water but I knew the wood wouldn't last long so I ordered these dowels. I found one that fit exactly and glued it in place. He successfully stopped the water. Once the area around the hole was dry I was able to reinforce the plug with another epoxy. Now the problem that could have been catastrophic seems solved. The forks are a bit pricey and there doesn't seem to be an option to buy a pack with less, so I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5. That worked, but now the question is what to do with all those extra stubs.
