I had lost the keys to my work van and didn't want to pay a locksmith $300 to come out and make keys, so I ordered these and gave my old 1998 Dodge van remote start and I added some universal power door lock solenoids which are also controlled with these relays. I even had a relay left over, so I hooked it to my bar light just for fun. All together it cost me about $40 and an afternoon of my time. They were easy to program and install. The remotes have great range even with the relays behind several layers of metal from the van. No more lost keys! I'm very happy with this purchase.
- Used this for a poofer mechanism, works great and from a quarter mile away!
- The relay is not interchangeable with other types
