Review on Dorman 911 008 Fuel Level Sensor by Sri Mims

This sensor correctly replaced a failed OEM fuel level sensor and now I have a fuel gauge that reads closely. The stock gasket felt a little thicker than the original part; It took a lot of effort to get everything in place and a lot of hammering to set the locking ring. Maybe it's better to reuse the old gasket. Applying silicone spray or silicone grease to the seal may also help. There were no instructions, but there are many helpful posts and videos online. I am satisfied with Dorman replacement parts for my vehicles.
