I bought 2 cords for my Christmas tree. They were a little tricky to put on but that is the nature of these lights and I knew it would be like this even before I bought them. My problem is that you can't connect two strings and when connected side by side one remote controls both but it seems like the different modes are in a different order because I can't keep them in one and the same mode. My tree looks pretty weird with one blinking and the other not. I also wish you could have alternating colors for each light so you have to choose one of the modes or have a fixed color. You can't choose to have half your lights be green and half red unless you want all of one row to be one color and all other row to be the next color. I've also noticed that my TV remote makes the light flicker. All in all I probably won't be using this on my Christmas tree next year but my daughter will enjoy it in her bedroom and I would give this app a five star rating.
