Review on 💨 Black Synology E10G21-F2 10Gb Ethernet Adapter with 2 SFP+ Ports by Trevor Blazis

I bought 2 DS2419+ NAS with 2 of these adapters to get 10GB and caching. 1 of 2 adapters works fine. Another blocks the NAS within 24 hours. To confirm, I swapped out the cards, memory and M2 modules to isolate the problem on the card. As a test, I'm using a 6.7 TB photo and video collection. At first it works fine, everything is fine, and then at some point in the process, maybe 4 hours, maybe 24 hours, the NAS locks up and all drive lights come on. DSM loses connection and you cannot return to DSM via browser. The only option is to turn off the NAS by pressing and holding the power button. After recovery, the logs show only abnormal shutdown. Like I said, this will work fine for a while before it hangs. I have verified this with my tests at least 5 times. I've just started a return but unfortunately the Revain won't be getting a replacement for a month.
