The gel pad does what it is designed to do and the bandages definitely help to support the wrist which almost all gel padded gloves don't BUT it's too big. In my 14 ounce Cleto Reyes glove it feels too tight, if my gloves were a little smaller I wouldn't be able to fit my hand in. Because of this tight fit, the gel portion at the end of the finger rubs against the skin, which has started to peel off the skin in the middle knuckles with every punch I landed. If they weren't so big, they would be perfect.
